Mary died December 9, 2008 in Richmond, Henrico Co., VA. OIBT: Mrs. Mary Lee Clary, age 92 of Richmond and formerly of South Hill, died Tuesday, December 9, 2008 in a Richmond hospital. She was the widow of Willie Cox and Grady Clary and is survived by her son and his wife John and Shirley Cox of Richmond, three grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P. M. Friday at Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory with interment in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 12:30 Friday.
She married twice. She married Willie Cox. Willie was born May 25, 1907 in South Hill, Mecklenburg Co., VA. Willie died June 25, 1968 in Richmond, Henrico Co., VA. She married Grady Linwood Clary July 26,1969 in Gasburg Brunswick Co., VA. Grady was born April 20, 1915 in Brunswick Co, ViA. Grady was the son of James Edward Clary and Emma Rebecca Jones. Grady died August 7, 1981 in South Hill, Mecklenburg Co., VA.
