He married twice. He married Frances Minerva Loftin 1882 in MS. Frances was born December 4, 1854 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. Frances was the daughter of Isaac Loftin and Louisa Jane Smith. Frances died November 15, 1915 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. He married Edna C. Burns January 16, 1916. Edna was born October 8, 1870 Kemper Co, MS. Edna was the daughter of Peter Burns and Selena F. Crapps.
