She married Ross Franklin Watkins August 9, 1935. Ross was born July 4, 1913 in Rayville, Ray Co., MO. Ross died May 23, 1968 in Springfield, Greene Co., MO. Obit: Ross F. Watkins, 54, of 2716 East Linwood, died at 6:30 p.m., Thursday in Burge-Protestant Hospital after an illness of eight weeks. Mr. Watkins had moved to Sprinfield from Louisburg 12 years ago. He was a carpenter foreman for Sharp Brothers Construction Company and was a member of Carpenters Local 978. Surviving are his wife, Edna; a son, Bill, Raytown; a brother, James, 1342 North West Avenue; three sisters, Mrs. Louise Miller, Buffalo, Mrs. Iva Mae Adams, Tunas, and Mrs. Frankie White, Davis Oklahoma, and three granchildren. Arrangements are under direction of Ayre-Goodwin. Mr. Watkins passed away May 23, 1968.
