Delma died January 25, 2012 in Brunswick Co, ViA. OBIT: Mrs. Delma Reamey Simmons, age 86 of South Hill, died Jan. 25, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Simmons and brother, Marshall Reamey.

She is survived by her daughter, Betsy Green of South Hill; brother, Coley Reamey (Mary Ellen) of South Hill; and sister-in-law, Winnie Reamey. Also surviving are grandsons, Justin Sculthrope (Elizabeth) and Tommy Green, Jr.; and two great-grandchildren, Andrew and Michaela Green.

Mrs. Simmons was owner/operator of Ben's Auto Sales and the Swap Shop. She was member of Zion United Methodist Church.

A celebration of life service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, at Farrar Funeral Home with interment to follow in Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. on Friday evening at the funeral home

She married Benjamin Davis Simmons March 7,1947 in Greensville. VA. Benjamin was born February 15,1927 in Baskerville, Mecklenburg Co., VA. Benjamin was the son of Jodie Simmons and Lora Bowers. Benjamin died Janaury 1977 in Louisburg, Farnklin Co., NC.

Delma Beatrice Reamey and Benjamin Davis Simmons had the following child:
