She married Ronald Eugene Huffine April 27, 1957. Ronald was born January 17, 1934 in Franklin Co., IL. Ronald was the son of Lemma Huffine and Callie (___). Ronald died November 15, 2010 in Marion, Marion Co., IL. OBIT: Ronald Eugene Huffine, 76, of Thompsonville died at 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Marion.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, at the Morton &?Johnston Funeral Home in Benton, officiated by Elder Don Wilburn. Burial with military rites by the Thompsonville American Legion will be in the Knob Prairie Cemetery in Akin. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
He was born in Franklin County on Jan. 17, 1934, the son of Lemma and Callie (Jones)?Huffine.
He married Florence Ellen (McEndree) on April 27, 1957, and she preceded him in death on July 14, 1996.
He was a longtime member of the Little Springs Primitive Baptist Church in Hamilton County. He was a farmer, a 40-year member of Laborers Local 529 in Benton, where he served as Sergeant at Arms; he also was a member of Laborers Local 773 in Marion.
Mr. Huffine enjoyed coyote hunting and working on old tractors, and he loved to dance. Mr. Huffine was an Army veteran.
He is survived by his four sons, Teddy E. Williams and wife, Teresa, of West Frankfort, Tim Huffine and wife, Sheila, of Macedonia, William M. Huffine and wife, Mary, of Thompsonville, and Ronnie E. Huffine of Zeigler; six grandchildren, Benjamin Lee Williams, Jesse Scott Williams, Adam Williams, Callie Edwards, Dusty Huffine and Carrie Huffine; and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Huffine was preceded in death by his parents; wife; a grandson, Steven Huffine; and three brothers, Delmar, Clarence and Paul.
Florence Ellen McEndree and Ronald Eugene Huffine had the following children:
