She married Charles Robert Twinam May 14,1949 in Contra Costa Co., CA. Charles was born May 23,1924 in Pendleton Co., KY. Charles was the son of William Fredric Twinam and Bernice Ella Kiser. Charles died August 20, 2011 in Antioch, Contra Costa Co., CA. OBIT: Charles "Bob" Twinam was born in Kentucky, the only child of William F. Twinam and Bernice Kiser Twinam. He died peacefully at home in Antioch at the age of 87 years. He quit high school to join the Army during World War II. Serving under General Patton, he saw action in France and Germany. Though he was wounded and received a Purple Heart medal, he often spoke lightly of his part in the war, insisting that he was "just a tourist" and seldom speaking of the horrors he witnessed. After the war, he came to Antioch, CA where he began working for Fibreboard Corp. He worked for various paper companies for nearly 40 years. He met the love of his life, Pauline Harrison, at Fibreboard and soon gained not only a wife, but two step-daughters. It wasn't long before two more daughters were born. Bob enjoyed camping (especially Yosemite), reading, and most of all road trips. He took his family of girls all over the United States. Although he didn't graduate from high school, he was endlessly curious and loved learning new things. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father. His beloved wife Pauline, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage, died in 2007. He is survived by his daughters Sandra Twinam of Antioch and Janet Robertson Klekar (Michael) of Oakley, as well as step-daughters Donna Rodriguez (Mike) of Antioch and Sharon Howard of Sacramento.
