She married Benjamin Franklin Smith October 11, 1866. Benjamin was born October 12,1848 in Franklin Co., NC. Benjamin was the son of Patrick Henry Smith and Mary Polly Edwards. Benjamin died July 16,1916 in Rocky Mount, Nash Co., NC.

He married Lizzie Edgar Joyner March 27, 1921 in Nash Co., NC. Lizzie was born November 3,1898 in NC. Lizzie was the daughter of William D Joyner and Ellen Daniels. Lizzie died December 2,1969 in Rocky Mount, Nash Co., NC.

 5438 v. Carra Sue Smith was born in NC November 17, 1878. Carra died May 19, 1946 in Rolcky Mount, edgecombe Co., NC.

 5440 vii. Mary G Smith was born 1881. She married John B Garris December 1,1900 in Nash Co., NC. John was born May 20, 1880 in Franklin Co., NC. John was the son of Elias Garris and Finnie Strickland. John died March 4, 1916 in South whitakers, Nash Co., NC.
