He married Ida Ukauka September 30, 1921 in Honolulu, Honolulu Co., HI. Ida was born January 6, 1899 in Maui Co., HI. Ida was the daughter of August Haneberg and Mary Keala Kalai. Ida died August 28, 1971 in Honolulu, Honolulu Co., HI.

Otto was a resident of Gig Harbor, Washington at the time of his passing.
Otto served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife Jeannette.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 9th, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. at Holy Cross Church, 5510 N. 44th St., Tacoma, WA 98407. Inurnment will take place at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA.
