Mildred died June 7, 2014 in Decatur, Dekalb Co., GA. OBIT: Mildred Jedrezak, age 92, resident of Decatur, GA, passed away on June 7, 2014 at her home. Born in the Glade District, Oglethorpe County, GA she was the daughter of Obie Veal and Fannie Bea Lesseur. Mildred graduated from Fortsonia High School in Elberton County, GA. Mildred left for Washington, DC. on Pearl Harbor Day at age 19 and later married Stanley J. Jedrezak in 1946. As a Supervisory Budget Analyst, she retired from the U.S. Dept. of Labor after 32 years of distinguished service. They resided in Oxon Hill, MD during the years of service for the government and retired to Stone Mountain, GA in 1978. They were married for 63 years. Mildred is survived by her twin brother, Millard (Myra) Lesseur; her daughter, Leslie Kolacki; her grandchildren, Robert Kolacki II (Sheryl) and James Kolacki (Gail); her great-grandchildren, Kyle, Sydney, Skyler, and Shane Kolacki and numerous cousins. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Bethel E. Baptist Church Cemetery, Elberton, GA. A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory. -
She married Stanislaus (Stanley) J.oseph Jedrezak September 21,1946 in DC. Stanislaus was born December 8, 1919. Stanislaus died Match 19, 2009 in Wilkes Co., GA.
