He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Allgood; two daughters, Janice Savell and Donna Beehn, both of Henderson; one son, Jonathan Allgood and his wife, Susan, of Jacksonville, Fla.; two aunts, Ruby Gibson of Henderson and Rosalie Allgood of Owensboro; seven grandchildren, Corey Skaggs, Jennifer Skaggs and Jeremy Skaggs, all of Henderson, Beverly Knapp of Owensboro, Heather Knapp of Evansville, Jessica Reyer of Nashville and Amy Carter of Green Cove Springs, Fla.; two great-grandchildren, Kelcie Skaggs and Blake Skaggs; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Tapp Funeral Home. The Rev. Stephen "Jake" Carter will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the local charity of the giver's choice.
Pallbearers will be Corey Skaggs, Leo Skaggs, Jeremy Skaggs and Jimmy Putman.
