Donald died January 13, 2016 in Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY. OBIT: Allgood, Donald E. "Donnie", 63, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on January 13, 2016. He retired from Parco Construction and was a member of the Kentucky International Laborers Union and West Point Baptist Church.
Donald was born on May 28, 1952, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Leonard and Rela (Wardrip) Allgood. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Bobby Allgood and Doris Hill.
He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Sharon (Glass) Allgood; children, Mark Allgood (Mary), Laura Vest (Brian), Emilee Allgood, Tim Spurlock, Scot Spurlock; grandchildren, Gracie Allgood, Cortland Allgood, Matthew Allgood, Ellee Dewees, Samantha Spurlock; siblings, Pat Ditto, Billy Allgood (Denise), and Nancy Keith; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). A funeral service to honor the life of Donnie will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home.
He married twice.
