Cora died February 18, 2014 in Harlem, Columbia Co., GA. OBIT: Cora A. Patton, 89, wife of the late Jack Patton, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at the Eisenhower Army Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, February 21, 2014, at Harlem United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Mike Shearon officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Cora was born in Monroe, Ga. and was a longtime resident of Harlem. She was a member of the Harlem United Methodist Church
Survivors include her daughter Kathy Patton Whitaker (Jimmy); two granddaughters Lauri Valiani and Caitlin Downing; one great-grandson Zane Valiani; and her brother Tommy Allgood.
She married Olein Jackson Patton. Olein was born July 16,1916 in Monroe, Walton Co., GA. Olein was the son of Olin Ralph Patton and Eva M Page. Olein died July 6, 1997 in Harlem, Columbia Co., GA.
Cora Estelle Allgood and Olein Jackson Patton had the following child:
