Ernest Dell11 Littlefield (William Clyde10, Claudia9 Allgood, William (Will)8, Manley H.7, Manley H.6, John5, Ishmael4, Edward3, William2, Edward1 Algood) was born in Walters, Cotton Co., OK August 30, 1938. Ernest died September 9, 2007 in Richardson, Dallas Co., TX. OBIT: Ernest Dell Littlefield went to meet our Lord on September 9, 2007 in Dallas,TX after a struggle with cancer.
He leaves behind Carolyn, his wife of 49 years; and his mother, Naomi Francis Littlefield of Lawton, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his son, Don Littlefield and daughter-in-law, Kathy of Spring, Texas; sons, Bobby Littlefield of Richardson, Texas and Kenny Littlefield of Corpus Christi, Texas. His grandchildren, Krista Littlefield Keller of Stuttgart, Arkansas, Kenneth William Littlefield of Spring, Texas, and Ashley LeeAnn Littlefield of Richardson, Texas will also miss him greatly. He is also survived by his sisters, Glenda Newell of Burkburnett, Texas and Urita Bowling and her husband, Marshall of Indianapolis, Indiana; and his brother, Waymon Littlefield and his wife, Rita of Lawton, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Clyde Littlefield, and his sister, Gloria Morrow.
Ernie, prior to retirement, was an entrepreneur in the furniture business. He was extremely generous and loved working on antique cars and driving tractors. His family, friends and neighbors will miss his countless hours working in his front lawn.
A Service of Celebration will be held Saturday, September 22 at 3:00 P.M. at the Richardson Church of the Nazarene, 2101 E. Renner Road in Richardson. In lieu of flowers, if you wish, you can make a donation to the American Cancer society.
