She married Raleigh R Walters 1955. Raleigh was born May 13, 1931 in Middletown, Butler Co., OH. Raleigh was the son of Releigh Ray Walters and Emma Lavone Dean. Raleigh died August 28. 2014 in Butler Co., OH. OBIT: Walters, Raleigh (Pete), age 83, of Middletown, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Hospice of Butler and Warren County. He was born May 13, 1931 in Middletown, OH to Raleigh and Emma Lavone (Dean) Walters. He served our country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a Korean War Veteran, Korean Service Medal with Bronze Service Star and National Defense Service Medal. He was a T.O. operator for Armco Steel for 37 years, retiring in 1991. Pete was a member of the American Legion #218 and C. A.R.E. and Franklin Church. Pete is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mildred (Allgood) Walters of Middletown; sons, Mark (Debra)Walters of Channahon, IL, Gregory (Marsha) Walters of Camden; daughter, Cynthia (David) Kruszewski of Livonia, MI; grandchildren, Joseph (Megan), Thomas (Rebecca), Zachary (Holly), James (Rose) Walters, Lisa (Charles) Andrews, Karen (Adam) Kimble; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Lincoln, Lila and Nolan; brother, Neil Warner of IN; sister, Doris (Jim) Gallo of Mt. Vernon, IN. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William Walters, Oscar Warner; sisters, Anita Howard, Mary Habermehl. Visitation will be held Friday, September 5, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be at Crown Hill Memorial Park with Middletown Combined Honor Guard Services.
