Mrs. Allgood was born in Wayne County March 25, 1885, the daughter of Charles and Rebecca Neff Howe.
On February 16, 1911, she was married to Robert E. Allgood, who preceded her in death on January 6, 1964.
He was a life long member of the Blue Point Baptist Church.
Surviving is a son, Ralph; a daughter, Hazel Ferguson; a sister, Arella Allen; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Richardson Chapel in Wayne City with interment in Thomason cemetery.
