25142 i. Marcell11 Case was born in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS August 16, 1918. He married Minnie (Bea) Walker November 4, 1952. Minnie was born November 19, 1928 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co, MS. Minnie was the daughter of Ezra Thomas Walker and Zelma Louvina Lambert. Minnie died July 24, 1999 in Hazlehurst, Copiah Co., MS. OBIT: Minnie "Bea" Coker, 70, of Hazlehurst, died there July 24, 1999, at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital. Visitation continues today at Hartman Funeral Home in McComb, until services there at 3 p.m. Melvin Blalock will officiate. Burial will be in Blalock Cemetery in Liberty.
Mrs. Coker was born Nov. 19, 1928, in Brookhaven. She was the daughter of Zelma Lambert of Liberty and the late Ezra Walker.
She was a homemaker and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Mrs. Coker was preceded in death by her father and one brother, James Thomas Walker.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Zelma and George Lambert of Liberty; her husband, Lester Coker of Hazlehurst; two sons, William Tom Gatlin of Magnolia and Danny Eugene Gatlin of McComb; four sisters, Velma Andrews of Canyon Lake, Texas, Pearl Hill of Jackson, La., Barbara Courrege of Nashville, Tenn., and Lillian Greer of West Monroe, La.; 12 grandchildren, Kelly May, Tracie Johnston, De Anna Gatlin, Tommy Gatlin, Brittany Gatlin, Stephanie Gatlin, Stacey Gatlin, Nikki Gatlin, Mark Gatlin, Mike Gatlin, Daniel Hall, and Katherine Gatlin; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Tommy Gatlin, George Lambert, Dickie Greer, Steve Greer, Dale Walker and Thomas Hill.
