Trula died November 1, 2001 in Steelville, Crawford Co., MO. OBIT: Trula Esther Hutchings (nee Fryman), passed away November 1, 2001, at her residence in Steelville, Mo., at the age of 93 years, 10 months and 1 day. She was born on December 31, 1907 at Coldwater, Mo., to the late Jerry Fryman and Mary Elizabeth (Hargus) Fryman. Trula was united in marriage to Gentry Hutchings on April 14, 1926, at Ironton, Mo. Her husband preceded her in death on September 26, 1942. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Sybil Ogrzewalla and Charlene Amburgy; seven sisters, Ollie Fryman, Stella Douglas, Lora Barton, Opal Bell, Lena Akers, Flora Stevens, and Hazel Tinker; three brothers, Arley, Everett, and Samuel Fryman. Those who remain to mourn her passing are three sons, Rick and Karen Hutchings of Cuba, Sonny and Mary Hutchings of Steelville, Edward and Sandra Robertson of Steelville; six daughters, Geraldine and Jerry King of Berryman, Jestine and Darald Evans of Effingham, Illinois, Patricia and Odell Evans of Vichy, Wanda Hawkins, Betty and Curtis Lefler, and Donna Tittsworth, all of Steelville. Three sisters, Retha Dobbs and husband Marvin, Ima Gean Maness and husband Cliff, all of Potosi, and Leota Lewis of St. Louis; 48 grandchildren, 94 great-grandchildren, 19 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2001, at Britton Chapel with Rev. Jerry Beers officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Ronnie Ogrzewalla, Eugene Harmon, Gentry Hutchings, Michael Beers, Jimmy Evans, Donnie Evans, Tim Hutchings, Tim Amburgy, Glen Robertson. Interment was in the Ottery Creek Cemetery, Belleview, Mo. under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
She married twice. She married Gentry Willard Hutchings April 14, 1926 in Ironton, Iron Co, MO. Gentry was born December 5, 1904. Gentry was the son of William Marshall Hutchings and Cora Belle Stuart. Gentry died September 26, 1942 in Clayton, St Louis Co., MO. Gentry was buried in the Ottery Cemetery, Bellview, MO
