Angelina died January 30, 1994 Lawton, Comanche Co, OK. OBIT: Services wre held February 2, 2 p.m., at the Greer Funeral Home in Mangum for Angaline (Lina) Allgood Henson, who died January 30, 1994 at the Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton. Rev. Edward Whitley of the Pentecostal Church of God in Cyril will officiate. Burial will be at the Roselawn Cemetery in Mangum under the direction of Greer Funeral Home. She was born December 6, 1905 in Judsonia, White County, Arkanasas to Samuel Lewis and Ora (Bates) Allgood. She married William Robert Henson in Durant on November 22, 1922. In 1940 the Henson family followed her mother and brothers to Greer County and moved to Willow Where they farmed for many years. Since 1951 their home has been in Mangum. Her husband died January of 1974. In 1993 she was named the Best Dressed Pioneer Lady during the Greer County Old Settlers Reunion. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son, Alva Lee Henson, two daughters, Myrtle Ainsworth and Pauline Sandeers and a grandson, and granddaughter. Survivors include her children Ester May Lee of Mangum, Ann Dorsey of Hobart, Bernice Goucher of Anadarko, Margrett Groseclose of Verden, Doris Aline Henson of Hobart, William Henson of Gracemont, Oleta (Dolly) Jane Shoopman of Oklahoma City, Charles Henson of Midwest City, a granddaughter she raised, Daris Jane Henson Wentworth; two daughters-in-law and four sons-in-law; 32 grandchildren, many great grandchldren, numerous great great grandchldren; two sisters-in-law, Oleta Allgood and Thelma Allgood Fennell, both of Mangum."
She married William Robert Henson November 22, 1922 in Durant, Bryan Co., OK. William was born June 13, 1897 in Greenville, Hunt Co., TX. William was the son of Benjamin Franklin Henson and Dora Brooks. William died January 3, 1974 in Mangum City, Greer Co., OK. OBIT: William Robert Henson, 76, died Thursday morning, January 3, 1974 in an Oklahoma City Hospital after an illness of a year. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the Rose Assembly Church with the Rev. Jerry Usher officiating. Interment was in the Roselawn Cemetery under direction of Greer Funeral Home. William Henson was born June 13, 1897 in Greenville, Texas, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamine Franklin Henson, and came to Oklahoma with his parents at the age of five to live in the Durant area. On November 27, 1922, he was married to Miss Lina Allgood. Since 1941 they have made their home in Mangum where he has worked at farming and plowing of gardens. Surviving are his wife; ten of his eleven children, Mrs. Esther Lee of Mangum, Miss Myrtle Henson of Lawton, Mrs. Annie Dorsey of Chickasha, Mrs. Bernice Goucher of Anadarko, Mrs. Margaret Groseclose of Verden, Mrs. Pauline Sanders of Houston, Texas, Miss Aline Henson of Mangum, William Henson of Edmond, Mrs. Oleta Jane Shoopman of Oklahoma City and Charles Henson of Midwest City; 28 grandchildren, including Mrs. Doris Anderson who was raised in his home; 15 greeat grandchildren, and one half brother, Elmer Lee Henson of Durant.

23138 i. Ester Mae11 Henson was born in Platter, OK November 21, 1923. Ester died December 7, 2003 in Mangum City, Greer Co., OK. Obit: Ester May Lee, age 80 years and 16 days, passed away at Mangum City Hospital early Sunday morning on Dec. 7, 2003.
Ester had lived most of her lifetime in the Mangum area. She was born on Nov. 21, 1923 in Platter. Her parents were William Robert and Angelina (Allgood) Henson. She moved to Mangum with her parents in 1940. She married Jesse Lee on Feb. 2, 1973 in Wellington, Texas. Ester worked at a restaurant as a cook and waitress during her working lifetime. She was a kind and loving person and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother, Alva Lee Henson; and four sisters, Myrtle Ainsworth, Pauline Sanders, Alline Henson, and Lois Goucher.
Ester is survived by brothers William Henson of Gracemont and Chuck Henson of Midwest City; sisters Ann Dorsey of Hobart, Margrett Groseclose of Verden, and Dolly Oleta Shoopman of Oklahoma City; aunts Thelma Allgood Fennell of Fort Worth, Texas and Lazell Dillahunty of Mangum; an uncle, Fred Dillahunty of Mangum; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 8, 2003 at Greer Funeral Home in Mangum, where the family will greet friends. A service will be held for Ester May Lee at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Mangum. Officiating will be the Rev. Dava Moore. Interment will be in Willow Cemetery in Willow.
Arrangements are with Greer Funeral Home in Mangum. She married three times.
She married Ivy Clearance Brown. Ivy was born September 18, 1913 in Willow, Greer Co., OK. Ivy was the son of W. H. Brown. Ivy died November 7, 1972 in Mangum, Greer Co., OK. Ivy ws buried in the Willow Cemtery in Willow, OK
She married Alan Jefferson Stephenson November 1,1942 in Greer Co., OK. Alan was born October 2, 1911 in Montague Co., TX. Alan was the son of Mary Ellen (___). Alan died April 10, 1972 in Greer Co., OK. She married Jesse Elmer Lee February 2, 1973 in Wellington, Collingsworth Co., TX. Jesse was born February 15, 1910 in Platter, OK. Jesse died June 13, 1987 in Mangum, Greer Co., OK. Jessie was buried in the Willow Cemetery, Willow, Greer Co., OK
