He married Clara Louis Massey September 15, 1928. Clara was born November 10, 1905.

 20586 i. Nancy Lou¹¹ Matthews was born in Yakima, WA May 21, 1933. Nancy died February 16, 1985 in Dallas, Dallas Co. TX. She married Arthur Peter Stiehler JR November 17, 1983 in Collin Co., TX. Arthur was born July 17,1933 in Rochester, Monroe Co, NY. Arthur was the son of Arthur Peter Stiehler and Dorothy Amna. Arthur died April 23, 1985 in Dallas, Dallas Co. TX.
