David died January 9, 2004 in Decatur, Macon Co., IL. OBIT: David Dean Dalluge, 80, of Decatur, formerly of Blue Mound, died 12:32 a.m. Friday (Jan. 9, 2004) in his home.

Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday in First Congregational United Church of Christ with visitation two hours before services in the church. Private burial will be in Hall Cemetery, Blue Mound, with military rites by the Macon County Honor Guard. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, Decatur, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials: First Congregational United Church of Christ or DMH Home Health & Hospice Services.

Mr. Dalluge was born Oct. 21, 1923, in Decatur, the son of William H. and Clessie C. Colclasure Dalluge. He was a World War II Army veteran and was a Tec 4 sergeant in the 705th Engineer Petroleum Distribution Company. He received three Overseas Service Bars, Good Conduct Medal, three Bronze Battle Stars, Victory Medal and European African Middle Eastern Theatre ribbon. He was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ. Mr. Dalluge worked at Pittsburgh Plate Glass for 31

years until his retirement in 1988. He loved his family, liked to tinker and enjoyed mowing and gardening. He married Betty M. Hartman on Nov. 29, 1942, in Decatur.

Surviving are his wife of 61 years; children, Karen Fritz and husband Jeff of Watonga, Okla.; David Dalluge and wife Linda of Decatur; Mary Burnett and husband Len of Oreana; Dale Dalluge and wife Ann of Warrensburg; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Gilbert Glen Dalluge and wife Arlone of Manhattan, Kan.; William Henry Dalluge and wife Nelda of Blue Mound; sister, Gladys Helen True of Willowbrook.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson.

The family wishes to thank DMH Home Health & Hospice Services for all their care and compassion.

He married Betty M. Hartman November 29, 1942. Betty was born December 26, 1922. Betty died September 14, 1997 in Decatur, Macon Co., IL.

David D. Dalluge and Betty M. Hartman had the following children:
