He married twice. He married Vera Lucille Young. Vera was born April 11, 1904 in IL. Vera died March 12,1994 in Xenia, Clay Co., IL. He married Leone V. Colclasure October 21, 1947 in Salem, Marion Co., IL. Leone was born April 4, 1908 in Clay Co., IL. Leone was the daughter of Robert Allen Colclasure and Carrie Mae Adams. Leone died April 21, 2004 in Altamont, IL. OBIT: Leone Colclasure Morefield, 96, Altamont, formerly of Flora, died at 4:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 21, 2004, at Lutheran Care Center in Altamont.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, April 23, 2004 at Frank and Bright Funeral Home, Flora. Bill Campbell will officiate. Burial services will be held at Oskaloosa Cemetery in Xenia.Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Thursday, April 22, 2004 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church Four Corner Fund.
Mrs. Morefield was born April 4, 1908 in Clay County, daughter of Robert Allen and Carrie May (Adams) Colclasure. She married Elmer Colclaure on October 21, 1927 in Salem. He preceded her in death November 19, 1965. She later married Ivan Laverne Morefield on June 27, 1982 in Flora. He preceded her in death November 23, 1984. Mrs. Morefield was a member of the First Christian Church of Flora, "Come Join Us" Sunday School Class, and Clay County Hospital Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by son Gerald Allen Colclasure of Lexington, KY; daughter-in-law Barbara Colclasure of Centralia; sisters Opal Kraus of Mattoon and Arlene Sherwood and husband Quint of Champaign; brother-in-law Herbert Colman of Louisville; and sister-in-law Sally Colclasure of Flora. Survivors also include three grandchildren Kaelin Colclasure of Morgan Hill, CA; Cher? Boeger of Auburn, WA; Ren?e Koehne of Collinsville; and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; a son, Keith; a brother, Everett; and a sister, Beatrice."
Claude Elmer Colclasure and Vera Lucille Young had the following children:
