Marilyn died August 20, 2025 in Ankeny, Polk Co., IA. He married Phyllis Joan Moore August 6, 1977. Phyllis was born April 30, 1935 in Iowa City, Johnson Co., IA. Phyllis was the daughter of Hollis Moore and Hazel Franke. Phyllis died June 2, 2007 in Union City, Obion Co., TN. OBIT: Mrs. Phyllis Joan ( Moore ) Allgood, age 72, a resident of Troy, died Saturday afternoon June 2nd, 2007 at the Union City Manor Nursing Home. A memorial serivce is planned for a later date at the Troy Cumberland Presbyterian Church with White Ranson Funeral Home incharge of the arrangements. Mrs. Allgood was born April 30th, 1935, in Iowa City, Iowa , daughter of the late Hollis and Hazel ( Franke ) Moore. She married Fred Allgood in August 6th, 1977. He died in 1992. She was a member of the Troy Cumberland Presbyterian Church and also a homemaker. She is survived by her daughter, Diana Garrett of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a son, Tim Mason, two sisters, Norma Thompson of Troy Tennessee and Virginia Seals of Creston, Iowa and a brother, Chester Moore of Necola, Iowa.
