Elbert Co., GA August 4, 1805. Sarah died September 13, 1902 in Ida, Caddo Parish, LA.
She married Jacob Hogue 1822 in Marshall, Harrison Co., TX. Jacob was born May 4, 1800 in
Dallas, Paulding Co., GA. Jacob was the son of James Hogue and Sansom Dickens. Jacob died May 7, 1873 in
Marshall, Harrison Co., TX. : Died of small pox in Marshall, Harrison County, Texas while living with his son, William T. Hogue. He
and his wife had separated when the children were grown. She then lived wi th son, Jonathan Patrick. He taught school and was a professor
of penmanship and literature. He was a member of the Methodist Episc. Church, t hen became a Universalist. After that he became a
Presbyterian. He was also i n the grocery business, presumably near Draketown, Georgia. Immigrated to Brig ht Star, Ark. around 1858 in
Miller Co. (later Lafayette Co.,) Moved to Thorn ton, LimestoneCo., Tex. before civil war and then to Marshall, Harrison, Tex. where he
died.

+ 850 vii. James Hogue was born June 16, 1836. 851 viii. Bailey D. Hogue was born in Draketown, Haralson Co., GA 1840. He married Cynthia Smith January 19, 1860. He foungt in the Conederate Army. He was disowned by the Quaker Church for enlisting. Records indicate that his name was changed fro Jacob Bailey Hogue.
